On June 29, 2020, dozens of musicians gathered in Washington Square Park for a violin vigil to honor the memory of Elijah McClain -- one of dozens to pop up around the country. It was a deeply moving event, filled with grief and joy and excellence, and I hope this video captures what it was like to be there for those who couldn't be.
